The Second Day of the programme i.e. 10th February 2002 was as per the schedule devoted to the hands-on lessons in net fabrication and installation of TED at the New Fishing Harbour, Paradip. The programme started around 11.30 AM at the warehouse Hall located in the premises of the New Fishing Harbour under the supervision of Sri A.C Nayak, Deputy Director of Fisheries (Marine), Orissa along with the ADFs of the four marine zones of the State. The members of the Trawler Associations were present in large numbers and took part in the proceedings of the programme.
The scientists of Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical Engineering and Technology ( CIFNET) and Fishery Survey of India(FSI) served as resource persons of the programme while the artisanal net binders and trawl operators of the Department of Fisheries, Orissa served as training personnel .

The programme ended at around 3.30pm.
