Except the informations relating to national sovereignty, security and integrity, all other informations should remain open to the public. Again, in view of the possibility of using the grounds of national sovereignty, security etc for refusing to disclose information by the Public Servants, we should have to further specify the provisions for Restrictions on Right to Information ( Clause-5).
Secondly, how the Compensation should be paid to the information seeker should be clearly specified.
Thirdly, the M.P. LAD and MLA LAD funds and their utilisation should be informed to the people under RTI Act.
Fourthly, about the State Council for Information, 40% of its members should be women.
Lastly, the common people should be involved in the debate and their opinions elicited on the Draft Bill on Right to Information.
